- Ament: from From Ament I learned about how she weighs the hearts on a scale, but if they are bad, she isn't the one to eat them, and that was interesting to me.
- Anubis: from Anubis I learned she can take shape as a human and a jackal, which I believed to be cool.
- Aphrodite: from Aphrodite, I learned that her and myself are very alike in many ways. For instance, we both cheated on our husbands and are goddesses of love.
- Coyote: from Coyote I learned that Native American myths have may different creator gods and that was appealing to me because there was only one designated creator god in other mythologies.
- Demeter: from Demeter I learned about what the Greeks thought about the seasons ad what caused them. The absence of her daughter left her sad, which causes winter and fall, and I thought that was interesting.
- Dionysis: from Dionysis I learned who created the concept of partying and who doesn't love to party??
- Odin: from Odin I learned about the creation of my world in greater detail, and about how he lost his eye. This was incredibly interesting and he did a great job.
- Hel: I learned from Hel that the underworld in my mythology is freezing cold instead of hot. Wow.
- Isis: from Isis I learned about the acceptance of Anubis and her forgiving nature. It is inspiring.
- Krishna: from Krishna, I learned many things about Hindu gods and goddesses that I didn't know before and I found his presentation highly entertaining.
- Lan Caihe: from her I learned about her unidentified gender, which I thought was odd, but I did not know that before.
- Loki: From Loki, I learned the simplest reasons behind some of his actions and why he does some of the things he does, but he still tried to steal my necklace so I still despise him.
- Nokomis: from Nokomis I learned about the origin of humanity. It was highly interesting and her presentation was great.
- Nut: from Nut I learned that in Egyptian mythology, some spirits hide in the darkness of the night sky and I thought that was cool.
- Pan Gu: from him I learned that a giant growing six feet everyday might not live that long, and that he was holding up our planets for a long time.
- Persephone: from her I also learned about the changing seasons and I thought that was cool.
- Raven: from Raven I also learned about many of the other gods and goddesses in Native American culture.
- Sun Wu Kong: from Monkey I learned about his clever ways and many powers.
- Xi Wangmu: from Xi Wangmu I've learned bout how Monkey became immortl, which was actually something I had been trying to find out.

What I've Learned...
Monday, February 23, 2015
I was walking along through the City of the Elves, a place called Svart-alfa-heim. It's a cold, dark city underground, and I found myself there one day. I was strolling through the marketplace, browsing and glancing at the beautiful hand-crafted objects laid upon crimson red tables, waiting to be claimed by someone new. I then saw four dwarfs (not such happy looking fellows). They were crafting fine jewelry, and the particular piece that caught my eye was beautiful, but it was still in the works. It was called the Brisinga-men, and was an emblem of the stars, or of the fruitfulness of the Earth; truly beautiful.
I asked them, "How much would you like for that marvelous necklace?" They said it wasn't up for sale. This left me quite disappointed, as it was the most beautiful thing I had ever laid my eyes upon. I then asked them, "Well, would you want anything? I can give you what you want if you will let me take the necklace."
They seemed to ponder on this thought, thinking about what they might want as the price for a spectacular piece of craftsmanship. The dwarfs were never a people to want and ask for much, but they had definitely thought of something. One of them spoke up, saying "we would like you to grant us your favour."
I did this, and obtained my necklace. It is always fastened around my neck where it is safe from the wrong hands, and I still adore it and cherish it. I wear it day in and day out, and only sometimes lend it to others if thy have good intentions.
At one point, I had found out that Loki intended to steal my necklace, and that could not happen. My trusted Heimdall has protected it and myself since.

I believe the conflict in this myth was when I had been given the necklace, and Loki had eyes on it. He planned to steal it after I leased it to Thor for a journey, where he deceived Loki, but the watchful eye of my dear Heimdall is what kept it safe in my possession.
(By the way, this is what I thought it might have looked like from the description in my novel..)

The main character in this myth is Freya herself, with her long, flowing strawberry blonde hair and piercing blue eyes. Her attitude is very sweet, and loyal. She is the goddess of love and fertility, and the leader of the Valkyries.
The four dwarves in the underground are obviously smaller in stature, but very muscular. Nothing could be told about their personalities, but they are thought to have looked somewhat like this:
The is the son of Odin. He is very tall and strong and wears a cloak of red and carries around his hammer. He has long hair. He is very noble and trustworthy, and obeys what he is told while still keeping his own opinion and remaining brave. He is a true warrior.
Loki is the God of the underworld. He is not one to be messed with He is a common trickster, and possibly the most cunning and clever. He is very intelligent. He has rather long black hair and usually wears a black suit of (armor?) and a mask or helmet with long golden horns on the front.
