I was walking along through the City of the Elves, a place called Svart-alfa-heim. It's a cold, dark city underground, and I found myself there one day. I was strolling through the marketplace, browsing and glancing at the beautiful hand-crafted objects laid upon crimson red tables, waiting to be claimed by someone new. I then saw four dwarfs (not such happy looking fellows). They were crafting fine jewelry, and the particular piece that caught my eye was beautiful, but it was still in the works. It was called the Brisinga-men, and was an emblem of the stars, or of the fruitfulness of the Earth; truly beautiful.
I asked them, "How much would you like for that marvelous necklace?" They said it wasn't up for sale. This left me quite disappointed, as it was the most beautiful thing I had ever laid my eyes upon. I then asked them, "Well, would you want anything? I can give you what you want if you will let me take the necklace."
They seemed to ponder on this thought, thinking about what they might want as the price for a spectacular piece of craftsmanship. The dwarfs were never a people to want and ask for much, but they had definitely thought of something. One of them spoke up, saying "we would like you to grant us your favour."
I did this, and obtained my necklace. It is always fastened around my neck where it is safe from the wrong hands, and I still adore it and cherish it. I wear it day in and day out, and only sometimes lend it to others if thy have good intentions.
At one point, I had found out that Loki intended to steal my necklace, and that could not happen. My trusted Heimdall has protected it and myself since.
