I believe the conflict in this myth was when I had been given the necklace, and Loki had eyes on it. He planned to steal it after I leased it to Thor for a journey, where he deceived Loki, but the watchful eye of my dear Heimdall is what kept it safe in my possession.
(By the way, this is what I thought it might have looked like from the description in my novel..)
